Healthy Kids Step It Up Challenge

Healthy Schools and Communities Rock!

The Fall Healthy Kids Step It Up Challenge, powered by Health Action Council, is a national no-cost, four-week step program that promotes overall health and well-being for schools and the community.

Create a team for your school district and start stepping to model healthy habits, show leadership, and win money! The process to join is simple. Create and register a team made up of school administrators, educators, and parents of the student body. *Teams must have at least three participants.

🎵 Listening to music has been shown to have positive effects on the mind and body such as boosted mood, increased heart rate, and improved performance while exercising. To keep participants grooving, this fall we will step our way through the most popular songs in each decade starting with the 1950’s through our group virtual race feature.

When: October 9 - November 5
Deadline to Register: Friday, October 6

The school district team that has the highest average total steps in the team leaderboard will win $1,500 for their school.
Other team leaderboard winners are as follows:

  • 2nd $1,250
  • 3rd:: $1,000
  • 4th : $750
  • 5th:  $500

    • Central, East, Northeast
    • Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest
      If your school district has multiple teams, your district cannot win the prize money for Top Stepper AND placed winners or Ohio region winner.

In addition to prizes, as a collective group, if we reach our step goal, we will donate $500 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.
Let’s step it up together and give back!
