Summer Step It Up Challenge Is June 13-26

Sign up now for Health Action Council’s Step It Up Challenge, sponsored by Fitbit.

The free, virtual step program that brings employers all the benefits of an official step program, without all of the management hassles, will be held from June 13-16, 2021.  

“The Step It Up Challenge sponsored by Fitbit has become a popular way for employers to engage employees,” said Patty Starr, President and CEO of Health Action Council.

“Participants challenge and inspire each other to keep moving and to be healthy.  It is great to see how successful people are when engaging in this fun initiative, while enjoying a friendly competition.

Those new to the competition are invited to attend an informational webinar happening Monday, May 3 at Noon EST. Register here. 

Team Registration Ends: Friday, June 4
Individual Registration Ends: Friday, June 11
Challenge Dates: Sunday, June 13-26
Winners Announced: Tuesday, June 29

Teams compete for bragging rights, valuable prizes, and a charitable donation to a great cause. The team with the highest number of average steps gets a healthy lunch for up to 50 people ($500 value) and a $500 donation made in their name to a school garden project or local Ronald McDonald House. The individual with the highest number of steps wins a brand new Fitbit device.
