Employer Step It Up Challenge

Step Into Spring with Healthy Habits 

We have exciting news! We have partnered with our new wellness platform, YuMuuv, to promote overall health and wellness in the workplace and community. 

The Spring Employer Step It Up Challenge, powered by Health Action Council, is a national no-cost, four-week step program that encourages daily healthy habits and includes a virtual scavenger hunt to start you off on the right foot for spring!  

Register a team made up of at least three participants that include employees, colleagues, customers, family, and friends. 

 
IMPORTANT DATES:

When: March 25 – April 21
Deadline to Submit a Team Name: EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, MARCH 22
Deadline to Register Team Members: Friday, March 22

STEP 3: ONCE YOUR TEAM NAME IS CONFIRMED;

Prizes:  Will be determined by team and individual leaderboards

Team Winner:

  • 1st Place: Receive a healthy lunch up to $350 and a $300 donation in your name to either a local school garden project or Ronald McDonald House Charity. 
  • 2nd Place: Receive a healthy lunch up to $150 and a $200 donation in your name to either a local school garden project or Ronald McDonald House Charity. 
  • 3rd Place: Receive Step It Up swag for your team. 

Individual Winner: 3 individuals from the Top 15 Steppers will be entered in a drawing and randomly selected to win a new Fitbit Charge 5. 

Compete in pop-up weekly mini challenges and win valuable prizes such as gift cards, Fitbits, gift sets, and swag!    

In addition to prizes, as a collective group, if we reach our step goal, we will donate $500 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. Let’s step it up together and give back!

Team names need to first be submitted on this form. Once the Health Action Council administrator sends an email confirmation, team members can then register themselves here using the signup code 2024SPRING.

YuMuuv connects to a variety of fitness tracking devices including Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Google Fit, Polar, and Suunto. To view a full list of connectable devices click here.

Yes, everyone on your team needs to sign up using the invite link at the middle of the page. The first person to register from each organization should create a team using this form so others can join the correct team as they register in the challenge platform.

Yes, participants can select “Manual Entry” when prompted to sync their device. *Please note logging distance or active minutes will not convert to steps.

The Healthy Kids Step It Up Challenge, powered by Health Action Council, is a national no-cost, four-week step program that promotes overall health and wellness in schools and the community. This challenge is intended for school leaders and parents to participate, model healthy habits for students, and win money for their school. If you are from a school and would like to register, visit the registration pageSchools cannot be registered to both challenges at the same time.
