The Healthy Kids Fall Step It Up Challenge is a no-cost step program that promotes fitness and overall well-being for Ohio based schools and the community. Create and register a team on the MoveSpring app made up of employees, colleagues, or parents, with a minimum of three participants.
“The Healthy Kids Step It Up Challenge is a way for your Ohio school to improve health, show leadership, and win money,” said Patty Starr, President & CEO of Health Action Council. “Most importantly, it is a way to promote healthy living for students through example.”
IMPORTANT DATES:
When: October 10, 2022 - October 30, 2022
Goals:
- Be one of the teams with the highest average total steps
- Keep moving to reach the TOP of the leaderboard
- Maintain your daily streak
- Compete in the weekly mini challenges
Prizes: The Ohio school district team that racks up the most steps will win $1,500, while the teams with the most steps in each of the six OHSAA District Athletic Board Regions could win $1,000 for their school!
Note: The six OHSAA District Board Regions are: Central, East, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest.

Remember: Participants are only able to join one challenge at a time. Choose between Healthy Kids Step It Up Challenge (for Ohio schools only) and Step It Up Challenge.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOINING THE STEP IT UP CHALLENGE
Create a MoveSpring account and set up your team on a computer or by downloading the MoveSpring app to your mobile phone by Friday, October 7.

- Follow steps to create your MoveSpring account & connect a device. You’ll automatically be added into the challenge!
- Create and join a team before the challenge starts.
