Health Action Council’s Fall Step It Up Challenge Winners Announced

The Health Action Council recently completed the “Fall Step It Up Challenge”.  The winners are Soul Steppers from the City of Toledo.   Each member of Soul Stepper’s team averaged 25,723 steps per day!  Soul Steppers will enjoy a healthy lunch courtesy of Health Action Council.  Heath Action Council will also make a $500 donation on Soul Stepper’s behalf to a Ronald McDonald House or school garden project of their choice.

“Health Action Council created the ‘Step It Up Challenge’ to encourage our members, supporters, sponsors, community partners and friends to engage in a friendly competition that promotes health and well-being,” said Patty Starr, President and CEO of Health Action Council. “This is one of many ways that we celebrate our important partners.”

Sponsored by Fitbit, the Fall Step It Up Challenge consisted of 111 participants from 12 different teams averaging 12,492 steps each day.
