Position Description: Health Action Council, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive brand strategy, messaging, and integrated communications across multiple channels. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and is responsible for developing compelling content, managing marketing initiatives, supporting business growth, and ensuring a consistent brand experience.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong writing , experience leading projects and people, and a passion for delivering high-quality communications that engage audiences and strengthen organizational impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Create and oversee content for web, email, social media, presentations, reports, and print materials.
- Maintain brand standards and messaging consistency across all channels.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website content, email campaigns, social media, and SEO.
- Track campaign performance and use data-driven insights to improve results.
- Support event marketing, program communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing timelines, vendors, and approvals.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to team members and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience required.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities required.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills required.
- Experience leading teams, contractors, or vendor relationships required.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, email marketing, social media, and website management required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and marketing/creative tools required.
- Healthcare, health insurance, or employee benefits experience preferred.
Additional Information
- Occasional travel (less than 20%).
