Education and Experience Leader

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Education and Experience Leader is an energetic, creative, organized, and relationship-oriented professional responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of all Health Action Council (HAC) Education Programs. This leader will drive program growth, foster strong partnerships, and ensure a first-class educational experience.

Working with internal teams, national industry experts, vendors, and community organizations, this individual will curate dynamic, relevant programming aligned with the HAC mission and member needs. Additionally, this role supports annual supporter and sponsorship programs, overseeing relationship cultivation and retention for fundraising initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Education Program Management: Plan, manage, and execute a wide range of in-person and hybrid events, including the IN-VALUE-ABLE Conference series, Golf Outing, and Member Share and Compares/Roadshows. Facilitate ongoing education programming such as webinars and specialized speaker events ensuring proper credentialing for SHRM, HRCI, CEBS, etc.
  • Content Development: Research topics, qualify experts, and conceptualize programs that resonate with HAC’s mission and member interests. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine objectives and curate a dynamic education calendar. Curate materials and post-event resources.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry leaders, experts, and HAC members. Engage multiple stakeholders to drive participation in annual supporter programs, conference sponsorships, and other fundraising initiatives.
  • Marketing and Communications Support: Partner with the marketing team to create, edit, and update promotional materials for educational programs. Share insights on trends, topics, and research relevant to HAC’s goals.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Develop program evaluation tools to gather feedback on content, speaker quality, and program relevance. Analyze trends and survey data to ensure educational offerings remain high-quality and timely.
  • CRM Management: Use CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to maintain and organize all event registrations, vendor activity, and communications. Track and report on vendor engagement, member feedback, and sponsorship progress.
  • Sponsorship and Fundraising: Sell and retain vendor partnerships for HAC’s Annual Supporter Program, Conference Sponsorships, and special events. Identify and network with potential vendors to promote HAC’s mission and support fundraising efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve educational processes, contributing to HAC’s goals for member engagement, quality programming, and sustainable growth.

  • Educational Theory & Practice: Knowledgeable in education trends, learning technologies, and interactive learning strategies. Ability to conceptualize and design engaging educational content.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams, vendors, and industry professionals. Strong listening and critical-thinking skills, with a service and sales-oriented mindset.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to interpret data, conduct meaningful evaluations, and present insights that drive improvement and innovation.
  • Project Management: Highly organized with strong project planning skills, able to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM and database systems; experience with Salesforce and Linvio preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in program planning, education, or related field. Demonstrated skills in event management, curriculum development, and partnership cultivation.
  • Professional Attributes: Tactful, courteous, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to exercise sound judgment. Team player with integrity and a proactive approach to challenges.

 

Location:

  • Cleveland, OH; Hybrid

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available during standard business hours, and occasional off-hours.
  • Occasional travel (fly/drive) required (<20%)
