Sparks360 Wellness Coordinator (WC)
 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The WCC is primarily responsible for baseline services, including Level I standard client services available to all broker clients, carrier and vendor program sourcing, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and proposals for wellness services, as well as providing coordination support to the POD and its client(s) within a designated geographical/corporate area to assist them in achieving their maximum potential for wellbeing.  
 
Wellness Coordinator (WC) Responsibilities

 

  • Establishes relationship with Spark360 POD team, internal broker team and key client Human Resources representative(s) and contacts
  • Maintains frequent contact with client representative(s) to facilitate the delivery of wellness program and services
  • Works with the RC to ensure appropriate vetting and implementation of wellness programming and services
  • Handles proposal and formal RFP process for client requests
  • Manages standard client services including newsletter and website administration
  • Manages internal time tracking system
  • Provides onsite presence for wellness program support, i.e. answering employee questions, helping out with events, marketing of wellness program, etc. where applicable
  • Assists RC with implementation of all wellness programs for client(s) within a specific geographical and/or corporately defined region
  • Provides assistance to the RC as needed
  • Attends periodic virtual and in-person meetings with regional team and company

 
Wellness Coordinator (WC) QUALIFICATIONS
 
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, i.e. nutrition, exercise, safety, nursing, psychology, public health, health promotion, etc.
  • At least one year of industry experience in a professional wellness role or other demonstrated appropriate experience (i.e., employee benefits)

 
Skills

  • Knowledge of basic health, nutrition, and fitness principles
  • Knowledge of benefits and/or insurance preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, provide clear attention to detail, and maintain records
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people of varying ages, ethnicities, life experiences, etc. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google suite, email, and internet navigation
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills

Special Demands

  • May be required to work outside of “regular” working hours to accommodate clients’ schedules and shift work
  • May be required to travel to sites within a geographical region or to various locations within a corporately defined area
  • Position will be primarily office work with some remote work

Sparks360 Regional Coordinator (RC)
 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: At Spark360 we work to SPARK people and organizations to reach goals they may have never thought possible. The foundation of Spark360 is our People Oriented Delivery (POD) teams, which include the VP of Operations (VPOS), Regional Coordinators (RCs), Wellness Coach/Coordinators (WC/WCCs), and RN Care Navigators. The RC is primarily responsible for the provision of support for and management of WC/WCCs within a designated geographical/corporate area. Together they provide the cornerstone of a successful Human-Centered worksite Population Health Management (PHM) Strategy, which in turn offers beneficial outcomes for individual clients, as well as the organizations that employ them.
 
 
Regional Coordinator (RC) Responsibilities
 

  • Aligns with other Spark360 RC’s and management to ensure best practices & innovations.
  • Works with the VPOS to manage hiring, including job postings, screening and participating in the interview process.
  • Manages and oversees WC/WCCs within assigned region and/or corporate area
  • Fosters a supportive, scientifically sound environment for POD team members
  • Conducts monthly Personal Management Interviews (PMI) with WC/WCCs to address workload, progress, problems and goals
  • Works with VPOS to establish relationship with broker, client teams and the clients they serve.
  • Leads onboarding and ongoing needs for all low to moderate need clients.
  • Supports VPOS with onboarding and ongoing needs for high need clients.
  • Assists VPOS with PHM Strategy design for clients where needed.
  • Oversees PHM Strategy implementation for client(s) within a specific geographical and/or corporately defined region.
  • Assists client(s) with planning, marketing and delivery of health and wellness programming.
  • Plans and implements other activities such as incentive tracking, onsite activities, biometric screenings, flu shots, surveys, data analytics, etc. along with WC/WCCs.
  • Creates customized PHM Strategy for clients within SPARK360 portal and leads portal builds.
  • Vets, builds relationships and coordinates with outside vendor partners where needed.
  • Follows market trends and innovations in wellness; participates toward the vision, design and implementation of contemporary incentive strategies and program design.
  • Knowledgeable in the services provided by our best-in-class, health management preferred providers & amp; medical carriers.
  • Facilitates internal communications with the broker client teams, and external communications within the client's Human Resource or senior leadership functions.

 

Regional Coordinator (RC) QUALIFICATIONS
 
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, i.e. exercise science, safety, nursing, psychology, public health, health promotion, etc.; Master’s degree in a health-related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a SPARK360 Wellness Coordinator; or 3+ years in benefits industry

 
Skills

  • Working knowledge of basic wellness principles and behavior change
  • Demonstrated proficiency in consulting, wellness program design and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, provide clear attention to detail, and maintain records
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and supervise staff
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people of varying ages, ethnicities, life experiences, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, e-mail; able to navigate multiple software systems
  • Proficient in creating and facilitating effective presentations
