Position Description: The Project Coordinator assists the VP of Business Solutions and the Business Solutions & Innovations Leader to facilitate the smooth delivery of the Health Action Council Group Purchasing Programs and Quality and health improvement initiatives for Health Action Council Members. The Project Coordinator is a liaison and resource between the Business Solutions (Sales) team, the Member Experience (Account Management) team and external partners.  The Project Coordinator must ensure that a first-class experience is delivered to Members, Endorsed Group Purchasing Partners, staff and all other parties. 

Position Location:  Company headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio

General Responsibilities: 
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all Health Action Council Group Purchasing products including, but not limited to, reviewing contracts, identify key dates and elements requiring ongoing responsiveness and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Provide the Business Solutions and Member Experience teams with group purchasing product training. 
  • Serve as a liaison with the Member Experience team and the VP of Business Solutions.
  • Support Business Solutions team to ensure that non-disclosure agreements (NDA), PBM proposals, re-pricings and disruptions reports are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manage the NDA process for Group Purchasing programs.
  • Support the annual PBM audit and market check process to ensure timely execution
  • Develop, with the VP of Business Solutions and Business Solutions & Innovations Leader, the Group Purchasing annual calendar necessary to successfully manage the activities each year including meeting schedules, data sharing, training.
  • Manage the PBM implementation process to ensure new Health Action Council Members receive a first-class experience and offer areas of improvement to vendors and VP of Business Solutions.
  • Coordinate with Group Purchasing vendors to ensure that they and Health Action Council are receiving information necessary to be successful including, but not limited to, managing reporting, meetings and travel. 
  • Learn the tools available from vendors to Health Action Council necessary to support the accounts receivable and budgeting process.
  • Document and manage work in Salesforce so that it is current, accurate, and reliable for reporting.
  • Assist in the development of deliverables for health care quality initiatives including, but not limited to, Leapfrog
  • Coordinate efforts across all stakeholders in support of the Alliance for Healthier Generations initiatives including but not limited.
    • Educating and supporting Member Experience and Business Solutions staff. 
    • Interacting with various stakeholder (i.e. members, schools, consultants, employers, public health) to encourage completion of the Alliance online assessment and/or the value of community reporting.
    • Drive connectivity across stakeholders and resources to have meetings with the Alliance to establish best practices where applicable.
  • Be a trusted neutral thought leader.
  • Support events on an as needed basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as needs arise.

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, internet
  • Must have a professional demeanor and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be tactful, courteous, and diplomatic
