The foremost challenge of US healthcare, for consumers and purchasers alike, is one of both overuse and underuse. Many expensive treatments deliver little or no clinical value, yet remain commonplace. At the same time, many worthy, low-to-no cost interventions are vastly underutilized. As employers, we also see recognizable variation in the quality of physicians providing care to our employees, which can have downstream implications on overall employee health and organizational cost.

Learning Objectives Include:

- Learning how large employers are taking a data-driven approach to improving employee health with physician quality, clinical navigation, and network optimization at the core of the solution
- Explaining how employers with distictly different employee populations are using data to enable their employees to successfully steer towards the optimal care path, regardless of how complex or simple their health issue
- The key takeaway is that data in healthcare directly impacts patient health outcomes. Data will enable patients to get to the right providers at the right time for the right treatment
